DEUTERONOMY

Scripture: Deuteronomy 17:18

"A copy of this law"

 18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:
19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:
20 That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.

                  A.  Meanings Derived

                        1.   Septuagints Translation

                             / A second law

                             /  English mistranslation = a law coinciding with (another)

                         2.  Hebrew Translation

                              / These are the words

                              /  Not a second law but a collection of Sermons

                                  Moses wrote concerning the already given law

                         Note:

                              >   When Moses went back up the mountain after

                                   having broken the stones that God had given

                                   him at first he re-wrote what he had first wrote

                              >    The Word of God does not need to be re-written

                                    and revised for man to choose his version.    Man

                                    needs to accept the copy of the original and

                                    heed it.       

                              >     The KJV is the oldest and most accurate copy

                                     of the original and therefore all others should

                                     be put in the trash can    (Revealation 22:18-19)

18  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book,

If any man shall add unto these things,  God shall add unto him the plagues that are

written in this book:

19   And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy,  God shall

take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things

which are written in this book.
