The Holiday season is upon us and we have a very busy holiday schedule of meetings.    On Sunday, November 23, 2008 we will be having a Thanksgiving Dinner on the grounds.    Be sure to invite family and friends and bring some holiday vittles and join us for a great day.

The Church enjoyed learning baptist history with Evangelist Ted Alexander.    We also met some distinguished guests as Shubal Sterns and Obadiah Holmes was present along with a few other figurines of the past.

December 7, 2008 Missionary Don Randall from the country of Ireland will be with us to give updates on the work there.     

We are now taping messages on CD and receiving orders for messages.    In the morning service we have been preaching through the book of Jonah and in the evening we have been preaching on the end times.     During the midweek service we have been preaching on the Old Testament Tabernacle.     If you would like to order a message or receive order details just email the pastor at apastorpreacher@yahoo.com

in September we had a King James Bible Conference with Pastor Greg Little from Gaffney SC.   It really charged the folks concerning why the Bible Version controversy exists and the realization that those resorting to other versions than the KJV are using a cursed text of scripture.     Many eye opening truths were presented to lead you to only one conclusion:    The KJV Bible is the only version truly sanctioned by God and not man.

On November 9, 2008 we had Evangelist Ted Alexander with us for both AM and PM services for Baptist History Sunday.   We met and learned of our Baptist Heritage and the likes of Obadiah Holmes and Shubal Stearns.    We realized the sufferings of the saints of God who preceeded us and how their strivings for religious freedom effected the origins of our country.     We were made to realize the fact that we have religious freedom in our country not because of a protestant heritage but rather because of Baptist Separatists who pushed for God-granted freedoms to worship God according to scriptural truth.

In our Morning Worship we've been preaching through the book of Jonah and we preached of how the sailors on the ship with Jonah sought to preserve him even inspite of the problems he caused them.   So therefore we ought also to strive to restore backsliders in their relationship with the Lord.

During the Evening Service we have been preaching the theme of the last days and preached of being on the brinks of the Rapture and after us the Tribulation period.    It's a time no one in right understanding would want to choose to suffer through.     All those who do not get saved during this time of grace will both miss the rapture and face the time of the tribulation:  A time in the bible called Jacobs Troubles.

Our Wednesday Midweek services are marked by a time of prayer and Bible Time.    In the preaching we preached on "SIGNIFICANT TRUTHS FROM THE MATERIALS USED"   Every item in the building of the tabernacle had a symbolic truth behind it.
